Why did you get into wedding planning?

I plan events as part of my full time job, and it’s always been so satisfying when everything goes well.  I want to make it easy for the couples to simply enjoy their special day and not have to worry about the little things 😊

What is your favorite part of the wedding day?

The moment right after the couple has been married and they’ve walked down the aisle.  There is always a couple minutes where it’s just them, and they get to take everything in together.

Why do you love Rustic Style Weddings?

Rustic Weddings makes every wedding beautiful!  And with Rustic Elegance, the staff is fun, energetic, and really, truly cares about creating a special day for the couples.

Any great stories or moments from past weddings?

I was not only the maid of honor at my sister’s wedding, I was also the officiant! It was such an honor to be a part of her big day 😊

What tips or advice do you have for couples working on planning their wedding day?

As an event planner, I tell people to always confirm with your vendors, caterers, etc. the week of your wedding.  The few minutes that it takes to make a call or send an email can provide such peace of mind! And to always remember that this is a day to celebrate them and their new life together, so don’t let the little things get you down.

Best advice for the bride on her big day?

Remember to breathe! Be sure to eat something, and have fun!
