Tell us a bit about you?

Minnesota born and raised, Nebraska schooled.  Married to my other half, Ed.  We live in Buffalo with our cat Davey. By day I'm a Marketing Event Planner, by night I'm a food truck loving adventurer.

What makes you smile?

My cat taking a nap!

What other hobbies do you enjoy?

Traveling! Absolutely love hopping on a plane to somewhere new.

What’s a fun fact about you?

I sneak weird food into movie theaters (ice cream, cereal, hot pockets).

What is something people don’t know about you?

Celine Dion is my go-to road trip music.

What is your favorite love song?

Old Love Feels New by Chris Young - it was my first dance at my own wedding.

What is your favorite dessert?

Chocolate anything!  If I had to pick, a Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet.

It's not a question of if you will have a life changing experience, but how many.

Why did you get into wedding planning?

I LOVE helping others.  There's something so fun about seeing the bride's design turn into her dream wedding that is fun to be a part of.

What is your favorite part of the wedding day?

My favorite part is when the bride sees the reception hall for the first time.  It's finally exactly how she envisions it and is one of the first real moments of her wedding day.

Why do you love Rustic Style Weddings?

Rustic Style Weddings tell so much about the couple.  There are always unique touches that make them fun and completely distinct to each couple.

Any great stories or moments from past weddings?

While lining up the wedding party to go down the aisle the bridal party started singing "My Heart Will Go On".  One person started and next thing you know the entire wedding party was singing.

What tips or advice do you have for couples working on planning their wedding day?

Remind yourself constantly it is YOUR day.  Do the traditions you care about, have your favorite people stand by your side, and let Rustic Elegance do the worrying.

Best advice for the bride on her big day?

Live in the moment.  Take the time to look around the room at everyone who loves you.
