Fairy Tale Wedding at Redeemed Farm | Danielle + Brodie

As Minnesota wedding coordinators who specialize in barn weddings, we have been to Redeemed Farm countless times. When Danielle and Brodie came to us with their dream fairy tale wedding plans, we couldn’t wait to help incorporate their special details into the space we know so well!

Rustic Elegance Owner and Lead Planner Kellie planned with the bride at our office in Plymouth. She was just the sweetest, and absolutely deserving of being the princess of this fairy tale wedding day!

THE MORNING

As our team arrived on-site, it was a gorgeous sunny, 70 degree day. The perfect wedding weather! We took a moment to greet vendors before we began setting up decor in the dinner area.

As the morning progressed, we popped in to check on the wedding party and made sure everyone had their personal flowers. We loved the pocket flowers that Apple Blossom Flowers created for the guys, versus the traditional pin on boutonnieres!

Meanwhile, Danielle was looking like a real life princess with her beautiful gown from Raffine Bridal and her tiara!

Once she finished getting ready, Danielle made her way out of the bridal suite for a first look with her dad. It was such a sweet, emotional moment!

It was then time for Danielle to make her way to the vineyard, where her prince was waiting. He wore a mauve, pink suit and a floral tie, which we were absolutely obsessed with!

After the couple shared their first look and private vows, they made their way around the property for portraits with Beyond the Pines. We truly can’t get over how magical these photos turned out. They are straight out of a fairy tale!

The wedding party then joined them for a few group photos. The pink and yellow florals in the bouquets from Apple Blossom Flowers beautifully tied together Brodie’s pink suit and the bridesmaids' soft yellow dresses. We also loved how Brodie stood out from the groomsmens’ gray suits. The groom deserves his special moment, too!

As photos wrapped up, our team pulled the wedding party aside for a quick day-of rehearsal. This was also a great opportunity for us to cover all of the info with the couple’s DJ, who has been switched last minute. Larry from the Instant Request team was amazing!

The wedding party then hid away as guests arrived, while the ushers helped greet and direct guests to the vineyard ceremony site.

THE CEREMONY

As the ceremony time arrived, our team worked with the venue to ensure all guests were parked and had made their way to their seats. We then grabbed the wedding party from the suites and lined them up for the processional.

The ceremony kicked off with the grandpas from both sides of the family lighting the unity candles. One was adorned with a “D” for Danielle and the other a “B” for Brodie. Then, the officiant walked down the aisle, starting the processional.

We then sent the parents down the aisle, followed by the bridal party, the junior bridesmaid, and the flower girl (which was grandma holding a bouquet of flowers, so sweet)!

Everyone then rose from their seats as Danielle made her grand entrance with her father. She looked absolutely stunning!

The couple shared a sweet, fairy tale wedding surrounded by their loved ones. They picked up the candles that the grandpas lit and used them to light their unity candle, which had their names and date on it. After a few special words, the couple recessed down the aisle as husband and wife! It was giving all the “happily ever after” vibes and was perfectly captured via photo and video by the Beyond the Pines team (we LOVE working with them)!

Our team then got to work cleaning up the ceremony site and repurposing the florals. The bouquets and arch garland were placed on the head table, and we placed the aisle flowers by the seating chart and on the floor in front of the head table. We love helping our couples repurpose decor throughout the day and always make sure to plan for it ahead of time!

THE RECEPTION

Guests enjoyed socializing during cocktail hour with drinks and appetizers, while also making their way to the pavilion to sign the guest book and take polaroid photos. Redeemed Farm added new chandeliers to the pavilion, which really elevated the space!

After cocktail hour, guests moved into the large barn for dinner. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their grand entrance to “Nothing New” by Strike, followed by a welcome speech from the groom.

Dinner was then served tableside to the head table, and guests made their way through the buffet line. The meal was delicious! Donatelli’s served up lasagna, chicken, roasted vegetables, garlic toast, and a spring salad with mozzarella and strawberries.

After the bride and groom finished eating, they cut their 2-tier cake from Nadia Cakes for some fun cake cutting photos! The team from Donatelli’s then cut up the rest of the cake to plate and set out for guests, while our team set out cupcakes from Sam’s Club. Guests were able to grab dessert as they transitioned to the stable for dancing.

This is where the bride and groom shared their first dance to “Say You Won’t Let Go”, followed by the traditional parent dances.

The dance party then kicked off with Larry from Instant Request playing all the best tunes!

Brodie played baseball for MN Duluth, so there were about 40 baseball players in attendance. While everyone was dancing, Beyond the Pines was able to get them all together for a big group photo. The groom was the first of the group of guys to get married, so this crew was so excited to celebrate Brodie and Danielle!

Meanwhile, our team worked with the catering and venue teams to clean up the dinner area. We used the venue’s golf carts to move gifts, cards, decor, and leftover food to the mother of the bride’s car, per our Clean Up Package that the couple added with us.

The couple then took a break from dancing to head out for sunset photos and to add their lock to the Locks of Love corn crib. Adding your lock is a Redeemed Farm tradition!

As the night came to a close, guests got a safe ride to the hotel from Lorenz Bus Company, while the couple hopped onto the Carey Limo for their grand exit. It was a perfect ending to a fairy tale day!

Danielle + Brodie, you were both such a pleasure to work with! We absolutely loved helping your fairy tale dreams come true. Wishing you a lifetime of happily ever afters!

Thank you to Beyond the Pines for sharing these amazing photos with us!
